LaPrade’s Marina is a full service marina located on Lake Burton in Rabun
County, GA
less than two hours northeast of Atlanta. Lake Burton is the largest
lake in the area, spanning across 2,775 acres with a total of 62 miles of
shoreline. The Property has approximately 12 acres and 1,950 feet of frontage
along Lake Burton, with the remaining 30 +/- acreage across Highway 197. Vinings
Marine Group, LLC (“VMG”) is redeveloping the entire marina on the lakefront
acreage.
Currently LaPrade’s consists of 62 slips, a marina store, two fuel
docks, and a boat showroom with Chris Craft, Cobalt, and Harris Pontoons boats
for sale. The development of the 10,000 square foot building as well as the
covered slips and parking lot is under construction.
The site will consist of up
to 183 slips and boat houses for boats up to 30’, a restaurant and bar, dockside
grill, real estate office, boat service and repair facility (all 4 of which will
be leased to a 3rd party vendor), and an outdoor covered pavilion.
